This week's service featured Dr. John Clayton's sermon "Eyes to See and a Tongue to Speak," part of our sermon series The Gospel of Matthew: Kingdom Come. The hymns for this week were "Psalm 150," "Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise," and "Holy Spirit." We also welcomed cellist Patrick Bellah, who played during the offertory.

This week's service featured Dr. John Clayton's sermon, "Sabbath Rest," from Matthew 12:1-14, part of our sermon series The Gospel of Matthew: Kingdom Come. The hymns for this week were "Psalm 100," "The Church's One Foundation," "Thy Works, Not Mine, O Christ," and "Thy Mercy, My God." In addition, the offertory for this week was an instrumental arrangement of the hymn "Be Thou My Vision," featuring Caroline King on flute, Brandon Bolin on violin, and Kim Bolin on piano.

This week's service featured Dr. John Clayton's sermon, "Holy Mediation," from Exodus 19:7-13, 16-20, as part of preparation for the church observing the sacrament of the Lord's Supper. The hymns for this week were "Psalm 97 (verses 1-7, 10-12," Holy, Holy, Holy!," "The Apostles' Creed," and "Amidst Us Our Beloved Stands." In addition, the choir's offertory this week featured violinist Isabella Cortes.

This week's service featured Dr. John Clayton's sermon from Matthew 10:40-42, "The Reward of Christ," part of our sermon series The Gospel of Matthew: Kingdom Come. The hymns sung this week were "Psalm 138," "Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing," and "Marvelous Grace of Our Loving Lord." In addition, the Covenant handbell ensemble performed an arrangement of the hymn "Be Still, My Soul" during the offertory.

As is our church's practice on the first Sunday of each month, we observed the sacrament of the Lord's Supper during this week's service. It also featured the sermon "A Covenant of Grace," from Exodus 19:1-9a from Dr. John Clayton. The hymns for this week were "Holy, Holy, Holy!," "Psalm 117," "The Apostles' Creed," and "Jesus, Thou Joy of Loving Hearts."
