This week's service featured Dr. John Clayton's sermon, "Apostolic Ministry," from Matthew 10:1-15, part of our sermon series The Gospel of Matthew: Kingdom Come. The hymns for this week were "Psalm 100," "Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise," and "Amazing Grace!"

We began 2019 by observing the sacrament of the Lord's Supper together as a church. Dr. John Clayton took his usual break from our Matthew sermon series this week to continue his Lord's Supper preaching through the book of Exodus, this time from Exodus 18:13-27, a sermon entitled, "Between God and Man." The hymns for this week were "All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name!," "Our God, Our Help in Ages Past, "The Apostles' Creed," and "Before the Throne of God Above."

This week's service included the sermon "The Prince of Peace," part of our yearly Advent observances. The hymns for this week were "Angels, from the Realms of Glory," "It Came upon the Midnight Clear," and "Psalm 85 (verses 1-3, 8-9).
